He lives!

Alright, so he's on the map - up and running. A little update from then to now: I did a bunch of tests to figure out if I needed Ear canals and what size they should be and ultimately most of them didn't tell me very much. I came to the final conclusion that they weren't really necessary. Atleast, there was nothing I could hear that told me they were. The effect is just as startling without them so they were deemed an unnecessary hassle.

Now, I've done a few recordings - I have yet to edit them - I might do some of them tonight just because I'd like to get them posted and hear other peoples' reactions.
The recordings I've got so far are;

-sitting in the crowd at a Unicycle Football Game
-My friend and I at Prospect park with her dog (under the big tree - you know the one)
-*10 minute rain storm at the Aquarena Center
-20 minutes of an Art Show - I set him up at the drink table with a sign explaining -binaural dummyhead recording and left him unattended. (I haven't had the chance to listen to the whole thing yet so I probalby won't post all 20 minutes)
-Cheesy audio-play of life from a dog's POV
-*Albanie and Django playing Caravan in the yard at Tantra.

*my two favorties so far.

So that's where I'm at.

My current plan is to get as many different types of field recordings as possible - from candid to contrived, interactive to unobtrusive.
However, I was thinking after the last recording I did that I may just scrap the whole audio-script idea as it's a little cheesy.
We'll see.

p.s. if you're reading this and you have an idea of something I could record PLEASE COMMENT!
